Joseph Wright is a native of California and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma with spouse Lori Decter Wright in 2008. He graduated Tulsa Community College in 2013 with an Associates in Nursing. Joseph worked at Saint Francis Hospital until deciding to specialize in oncology with Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) in 2018. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Northeastern State and is currently pursuing a master’s degree with Oklahoma City University focusing on nursing education. Joseph’s philosophy is to incorporate resilience into nursing education by addressing and working through student adversities. He serves on many nursing councils and is on the board of the local chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society. As an eager participant, he is excited to engage in rich discussions about a multitude of subjects.

Watch PresentationDownload PresentationDr. Bruce Dart has served five local health departments in three states during his 36-year career in public health. Currently, he is the executive director of the Tulsa City/County Health Department (THD), a local public health agency of 340 team members in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dart serves in a leadership role as a member of several National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) work committees and is a NACCHO past president and former board member. He also serves on the Public Health Accreditation Board’s (PHAB) Accreditation Review Committee. Dart is a Registered Environmental Health Specialist and former Nebraska Environmental Health Administrator of the Year. He is a Year 15 graduate of the National Public Health Leadership Institute and his team was co-winner of the Martha Katz award for the best project. He has received an appointment as a Visiting Associate Professor in the Oklahoma University College of Public Health and serves on the CASA, MyHealth, Morton FQHC, and Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy Board of Directors in Tulsa. He also chairs the Oklahoma State Health Department’s Obesity Prevention Committee as part of the Oklahoma Health Improvement Plan. He received his BA in Biology from Drury University (MO) in 1977, his MS in Administration (Health Services) from Central Michigan University in 1989, and his PhD in Health Services from Walden University (MN) in 2005.
